Version 2.6.0 is one of the largest updates Zaplink has received so far.
It introduces Zaplink Pro, Buy Me a Coffee support, Monthly Usage tracking, redesigned account and configuration pages, a rebuilt Zaplink OSC application, and major reliability improvements across the platform.
Free and Pro plans¶
Zaplink remains available for free, while Zaplink Pro provides higher limits and additional benefits.
Free¶
- Includes Zaplink's core functionality.
- Supports connected donation platforms and shocker configurations.
- Monthly donation event and donation volume limits apply.
- Usage resets automatically at the beginning of each calendar month.
Pro¶
- Includes higher Monthly Usage limits.
- Includes subscription management and billing through Stripe.
- Eligible users can begin with a free trial.
- Includes access to current and future Pro benefits.
- Includes access to Zaplink OSC.
Monthly Usage¶
The dashboard now shows your donation events and donation volume for the current month.

The limits below are examples only. Your actual plan limits are displayed on your dashboard and on the Zaplink Pro page.
What counts as a donation event?¶
Each real donation received from a connected donation platform counts as one donation event, regardless of the donation amount.

Example 1: Several smaller donations¶
For this example, assume a plan has a monthly limit of 30 donation events and $100 donation volume.
A user receives 12 donations worth $5 each.
The user remains below both limits.
Example 2: A few larger donations¶
The user receives four donations worth $30, $25, $20, and $30.
This results in only four donation events, but a total donation volume of $105.
Warning
When either Free plan limit is reached, additional donation events may no longer be processed until usage resets or the user upgrades to Zaplink Pro.
Monthly resets¶
- Free plan usage resets automatically at the beginning of each calendar month.
- Unused usage does not carry over into the next month.
- Test donations sent through supported platform testing tools do not count toward Monthly Usage.

Buy Me a Coffee is now fully supported as an additional donation platform.

Zaplink OSC¶
The desktop application and supporting infrastructure have been rebuilt.

Refactored OSC infrastructure¶
The OSC backend and relay architecture were reworked to improve:
- Security
- Authentication
- Connection management
- Performance
- Overall stability
Legacy Zaplink Relay discontinued
The legacy Zaplink Relay desktop application has been discontinued and is no longer compatible with Zaplink.
Remove any remaining Zaplink Relay files from your computer and install the new Zaplink OSC desktop application.
Access to Zaplink OSC requires an active Zaplink Pro subscription.
